Calla Lily Cake

Calla lilies are such beauties! They are by far one of my favorite flowers. This cake showcases a fondant calla lily spray bouquet in small and large flowers with a pretty butterfly accent. The cake is a specialty flavor: berry decadence cake with champagne buttercream! You heard it right people...yummy!

Baseball Jersey Cake

I was in a creative mindset where I wanted to come up with a simple yet sure way to depict a baseball theme cake design. Well...this is what I came up with after several attempts at creating a design. I wanted to make this cake about the birthday boy, so I cut out fondant letters in 3 different colors to spell out his last name, and cut out his lucky number. What baseball cake would seem right without a baseball?!?! I made a life size baseball out of fondant to place on the cake board. Last, but not least, I used edible ink to sign his autograph on the cake. This was a really fun cake to make! The cake is red velvet with vanilla buttercream and fondant icing.

3 Tiered Modern Purple Blossom Cake

This was my first 3 tiered cake! I am proud to say that it transported well! Wheew! It was just for practice, but still. I wanted to make it as much of a real wedding cake as possible. The top tier is lemon, middle is red velvet, and bottom tier is vanilla. All the icing is buttercream, and the blossom flowers, leaves, and butterflies are made out of fondant. I did get to eat some of this cake!

Tape Measure Cake

Never underestimate the need for a tape measure! It comes in handy, trust me! Personally, I like to keep one on my key chain since you just never know what may need measuring. So, this cake was made for a fabulous friend who just had a birthday. I had the year she was born as the total amount of feet. This is a white cake with vanilla buttercream icing and fondant decorations.
